ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS.
We are grateful to the following people who help look after the hall for our community.
Trustees-Andrew English, Geoffrey Baber, Ray Dinsey, who also work on other committees,
for their wisdom and guidance. Andrew has been particularly helpful in taking on more
responsibility this year and has been a very good servant to this community over many
years.
Amanda Keighley who is an associate member of our committee and our contact with the
Charity Commission.
Carol-Anne Robertson, our minutes secretary and was also joint booking secretary and PA
to the Chairman and a calming influence on the Chairman!
Daniel Lilley our cleaner, always very helpful when asked to do extra.
Henry Driver who manages our web site.
Jeff Keighley who checks the defibrillator on behalf of the Parish Council.
David Rhodes who manages the pond area and repairs to the play area.
Graham Metson for spraying the weeds around the hall.
Peter Winch for carrying out repairs at the hall so expertly.
Claire Hayward for running the coffee morning.
David Andrew who does the regular safety checks for the hall on fire alarms, emergency
lights etc.
All the caterers who man the Saturday Lite Breakfast club.
That is about 21 people from this community who are contributing.
All residents who help with events and those people who organize the groups and social
events, your volunteering is much appreciated.
Please continue to use our Village Hall and encourage residents to come forward and
organize new activities, which we would always do our best to support. The hall does need
to be used more for its long-term future.
