HALL HIRE
Average hall hire by regular users is about 47 hours a month plus we have private bookings.
Plenty of room for more hire.
The latest time in the evening that the hall can be used is now 11.30pm.
The hall now has a live online booking system from July this year, go to

We are very grateful to Sue Henderson for taking on the booking secretary position this
year, contact her on brockleyonlinebookings@gmail.com.
The Trustees are also would like to thank Mark Goulding who has set up the online
booking system for us and guided us through the whole system which I am sure took up
quite a bit of his time. Mark also edits the newsletter for the village and we wish to
acknowledge the time and support he gives to our community.

to stay on as a Trustee at the moment pending the very recent idea that the Parish Council,
as a body, becomes the sole Trustee for the Village Hall. This idea was introduced at a recent
Village Hall conference attended by Andrew English and is a way of securing the long-term
future of the Village Hall and taking the burden of responsibility off individuals. More

I just want to acknowledge what a good Trustee Julie has been, very proactive with her
ability to think ahead and get things done. Next Prime minister Julie? Thank you for all you
have done for this community and the Village Hall.
Treasurer - Sarah Rhodes is also stepping down as treasurer this year having done an extra
year for us as she wanted to step down last year! We are very grateful to Sarah who
volunteered originally, when we had no treasurer and has done a very professional job for
us. Next chancellor Sarah?
We are most grateful to Ann Barber who will
