Changes to Bus Services
For those who use the bus service, you will be aware that there have been some changes to the
times. Regular bus user, Vic Hill, has been on the case to try and clarify the new service and
explains that there is now a No: 47 (the regular service) and No: 47a which comes from Clare.
All in all I think the village has done rather well with the new changes to the service although
how it will work when the road is closed is anyone9s guess!
The following times are correct at the time of writing
No: 47 – Sudbury to Bury St Edmunds. Times. 9.23am /11.23 am /13.23 pm /15.23pm
No 47 Bury St. Edmunds to Sudbury
Times: 10.41am/12.41pm/14.41pm/16.41pm
______________________________________________________________________________
No 47a Clare to Bury St Edmunds – Please note this bus goes via Rede and the pick-up at
Brockley appears to be the turning into Mill Road going west
Times: 7.38am
No: 47a Bury St Edmunds to Clare – stop at turn going east
Times: 16.48pm/18.08pm

A revised bus timetable is now in the Bus Stop notice board, thank you Vic for your time and
patience in trying to get to grips with the changes.
