CREATIVE BROCKLEY 2026
Creative Brockley 2026 proved to be another really lovely day with several of our villagers
exhibiting their various creative talents.
A big thank-you to all the exhibitors listed below. Also to everyone who made or brought cakes and
to David & Val Feuer, Gillian Leeder and Ian Robertson who kept the tea and coffee flowing
throughout the day.
We are grateful to Simon and Tracy Clark for producing such eye catching signs which we know
drew several people to the Hall as they were passing.
Special mention must go to our Postman Richard Whiting who gave up a day to come and perform
some of his poetry. Such thoughtful and sensitive observations entertained us all. Richard really
enjoyed the day too and after 20 years of delivering our post feels part of the village. He wrote……
Thank you to everyone who bought a copy of my book today. I have been able to forward £40 to
the RSPB Save our Swifts appeal. That’s equivalent to a swift brick being installed on a building
and hopefully ensuring a much needed contribution to the recovery of this remarkable bird.

Thank-you to everyone who came and for all the positive encouragement and of course for eating
cake! After Hall hire costs were able to send £45 to the Hospice 3 not as much as last year but much
appreciated, nonetheless.
