Club home fixtures for July are as follows:
Sat 4th 1st team v Nacton
Sun12th 2nd team v Hadleigh
Sat 18th 1st team v Battisford
Sun 19th 1st team v Melton St Audrey
Sun 26th 2nd team v Elveden
LEGENDS Day Saturday 1st August. Meet up with ex-players and friends of the club. Enjoy a good
game of cricket, 1st team take on Mistley, followed by BBQ. All welcome from 13:30
We look forward to seeing you at one or more of the above. Teas and Coffee available and the bar
will be open from 1300.
At the end of May both the Saturday team and the Sunday 1s recorded good wins against Hadleigh
away and Long Melford at Home. In all over the month there was one win, two losses for the
Saturday team and one match cancelled due to rain. The Sunday 1s won all four matches played
whilst the 2s, the development side, lost their three games.
Some of the performance high lights of the month.
Saturday 1s: Bill Hill 3 wickets for 36 runs against Hadleigh. Rob Dovaston 53 runs against
Colchester Cavaliers. Stu Fisher 80 runs and Alex McCaffrey 71 runs against Woodbridge.
Sunday 1s: Against Long Melford Ricky Meekings 4 for 21 and Liam Grimwood 4 for 32. Steve
