Parish Council Updates
Traffic Calming
Some good news. The construction order has now been raised to implement the buffer zone between
Hartest and Brockley. The work must be completed within 14 weeks.
The two new speed poles have been erected; one on the B1066 at the south end of the village and one
by the children9s playground in Mill Road. Once we have the fixings, we will begin to move the
Speed Indicator Device between the three sites.
Parish Councillor Vacancy
Cllr. Steve Holmes has stepped down from the parish council. Steve has been a key member of the
team and has made a valuable contribution to the parish council. On behalf of the rest of the team, I
would like to thank Steve for giving up his time to help the council deliver on projects that have made
a real difference to people9s lives. We will miss you Steve and wish you well for the future.
If you are interested in becoming a parish councillor, please speak to me or any of the other
councillors.
Next parish council meeting is 22nd January 2026 @ 7pm in the village hall.
Cllr. Dr. Julie Wymer
Chair, Brockley Parish Council
